Belton Leadership Class 2004

Leaders from Belton spent the day at Fort Hood yesterday with 13th COSCOM. Their day started at 07:30 when they were picked up in Belton and bussed to Fort Hood. Upon arrival they enjoyed a continental breakfast and a 13th COSCOM Command brief. Then it was on to Santa's Workshop where Bobbi Hennesee explained the operation of Santa's Workshop. Then it was off to (CCTT) Close Combat Tactical Trainer, where Mr. Shaw and Mr. Stilley explained how the CCTT trains today's soldiers, then the class had the opportunity to see first hand how soldiers train for combat, when they had the opportunity to operate a Humvee, Abrams Tank, also the Bradley Tank, on a simulated battle field. Then it was onto Lynch Dinning Facility for lunch. After lunch they where shown some of the 13th COSCOM's equipment from the air med evac UH 60 helicopter, Humvee, Heavy Equipment, a fuel truck, water purification at each of these stations. They also got the opportunity to meet and interact with the soldiers of 13th COSCOM who run the different equipment setups.
