Clear Creek Child Development Center held their Wet Family Fun Day on Friday June Fourth. The day was full of water activities, games, arts a giant slide, and the Fort Hood fire safety team. The primary focus for this day was to promote parent, child and caregiver interaction. Children of all ages participated in the activities.
Station Chief Andrews of the Fort Hood fire department brought safety house out to teach the parents and children about safety in the house. Andrews said "showing the children and parents the basic safety for fire, smoke, fire places and things like leaving the handles of frying pans hanging over the edge of the stove while cooking", are just a few of the concerns they were teaching.
