William H. O’Neal
CSM, USA


Command Sergeant Major William H. O’Neal II is from Lawrenceville, GA. He entered the US Army in October 1991 and completed Basic Training at Fort Knox, KY. He completed the Medical Specialist Military Occupational Skills Advance Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX. His assignments include: 3rd US Infantry (The Old Guard) MDW; Joint Medical Readiness Training Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX; Heidelberg Medical Activity, Heidelberg, Germany; Platoon Sergeant, 3-504 PIR 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg NC; First Sergeant, 307th BSB 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC; Troop Command CSM and MEDCEN CSM, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, and Command Sergeant Major, Dental Command, Ft. Sam Houston.

CSM O’Neal deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II and Operation Enduring Freedom II and VI.

He has held various leadership positions to include Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Command Sergeant Major.

CSM O’Neal’s military schools include: All NCO Professional Development Courses, Basic Airborne Course, Air Assault Course, Faculty Development Course, Small Group Leader Instructor Course, Medical Management of Chemical Casualties Course, Middle Managers Development Course, Navy Designing Educational Programs Course, Flight Medical Aidman Course, Combat Casualty Care Course, Marine Corps Summer Mountain Leaders Instructor Course, Marine Corps Helicopter Rope Suspension Training Course, Rappel Master Course, Rope Master Course, Navy Landing Force Medical Planners Course, and Jumpmaster Course. He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) and is currently working towards his MBA in Human Resources.
