COLONEL THOMAS A. BELL
Colonel Thomas “Taco” Bell currently serves as Air Force Global Strike
Command Chief of Bomber Operations Division and Detachment 1 Commander. In
this role, Colonel Bell directs and develops B-2 and B-52 operational policy
and guidance to support Combatant Commander contingency plans. He also
represents AFGSC as a liaison to ACC staff.
Colonel Bell received his commission from the University of Mississippi
in 1990. He is a master navigator with more than 2,500 flying hours in
the B-1 and B-52. He conducted aerial combat operations in Operation
ALLIED FORCE. He has commanded an operational squadron and led
Battlefield Airmen in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan during
deployments with conventional Army light infantry and special operations
units. He was last assigned as the Deputy Commander, 18th Air Support
Operations Group, Pope AAF, NC.
SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT ROBERT E. WOLFE
Senior Master Sergeant Wolfe is the First Sergeant to the commander, 3d Air
Support Operations Group, Ft. Hood AIN, Texas. In this capacity, Sergeant
Wolfe advises the commander on all matters pertaining to or affecting the
health, morale, and welfare of more than 800 enlisted people in seven squadrons
spread over seven states. Moreover, as the Groups senior First Sergeant he
plays a pivotal role in mentoring fellow First Sergeants as well as ensuring the
squadron Commanders have a wartime ready force.
Senior Master Sergeant Wolfe, a native of Jackson, Michigan
entered the Air Force in March 1995, as a 4N0X1, Aerospace
Medical Apprentice. Always focused on taking care of his
fellow Airmen led to his decision to attend the First
Sergeant Academy in March of 2008, from which he received
his diamond. His background includes numerous duties
cultivating in assignments in five different MAJCOM’s and as
First Sergeant at both squadron and group levels. In
addition, he has deployed in support Operations IRAQI
FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.
CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT JERRY S. CAMPBELL
Chief Master Sergeant Campbell is the Chief Enlisted Manager to the commander,
3d Air Support Operations Group, Ft. Hood AIN, Texas. In this capacity,
the chief advises the commander on all matters pertaining to or affecting the
morale, welfare, assignment, and effective utilization of more than 800 enlisted
people in seven squadrons spread over seven states. As the senior Tactical
Air Command and Control Manager for the U.S. Army’s III Corps, he advises the
Corps Senior Air Liaison Officer on the planning, integration, and execution of
combat air power employment in air-land battle operations.
Chief Master Sergeant Campbell, a native of Waynesville, Missouri, entered the
Air Force in September 1986. His background includes numerous duties in the
Nuclear Weapons Specialist and Tactical Air Control Party career fields and
various leadership roles at squadron, group and major command levels. His
has significant joint service experience and deployed in support of Operations
DESERT STORM, SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE and IRAQI FREEDOM. Before assuming
his current duty, he served as the Tactical Air Control Party career field
functional manager, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, FL.
