Lieutenant Colonel Lee

LTC Lee was commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer from Kansas State University and entered active service in 1999. He most recently served as the planner for the New Mexico / West Texas Regional Support Team, Joint Task Force North.

LTC Lee has served in a variety of command, leadership, and staff assignments in Field Artillery, Infantry, and Armor units. His previous assignments include Company Fire Support Officer in 1st Battalion 23rd Infantry Regiment, Platoon Leader, Fire Direction Officer, Executive Officer, and Battalion Fire Direction Officer in 1st Battalion 37th Field Artillery Regiment a Ft Lewis, Washington; Assistant Intelligence Officer 1st Infantry Division DIVARTY and Assistant Operations Officer 1st Battalion 6th Field Artillery Regiment in Bamberg, Germany; Battery Commander in 2nd Battalion 32nd Field Artillery Regiment and Fire Support Officer in 2nd Battalion 16 Infantry Regiment at Ft Riley, Kansas; Fire Direction and Fire Support Observer Controller in Ft Irwin, California; Operations Officer in 2nd Battalion 3rd Field Artillery Regiment and Fire Support Officer and Executive Officer in 1st Brigade 1st Armor Division.

LTC Lee’s operational deployments include two tours in Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom (Assistant Operations Officer and Battalion Fire Support Officer) and one tour to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Brigade Fire Support Officer).

LTC Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Kansas State University and a Masters of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University. He also is a graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, Field Artillery Captains Career Course, the Combined Arms and Staff Service School, and Command and General Staff Officers Course.

LTC Lee’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Badge and Ranger Tab.
