Captain Eric A. Robertson hails from Lake Jackson, Texas. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery on the 10th of May 2006. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History and a minor in Business.
After commissioning, Captain Robertson was assigned to 2-20 FA, 4th Infantry Division, where he served 14 months as a platoon leader in Bravo Battery. In March 2008, Captain Robertson was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 41st Fires Brigade as the Executive Officer and deployed in support of OIF 08-09. CPT Robertson served as a Civil Affairs Team Leader embedded with the Wasit Province Provincial Reconstruction Team at FOB Delta. Upon redeployment from Iraq, CPT Robertson moved to the Brigade S3 shop and served as the Assistant S3.
Captain Robertson’s military schools include the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course. CPT Robertson’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (5 OLC), the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon.
