LTC Charles H. Blumenfeld
LTC Charles H. Blumenfeld received his
commission through the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps
(ROTC) program at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1993
as a Transportation Officer. He began his military career
as a Platoon Leader in the 418th Transportation Company, hen the
Detachment commander of the 406tg Transportation Detachment
(Trailer Transfer Point), and finally the S1/ Adjutant all
within the 180th Transportation Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas.
LTC Blumenfeld’s awards and decorations
include the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Army
Meritorious Service Medal (3OLC), Army commendation Medal
(1OLC), Army Achievement Medal (1OLC); National Defense Service
Medal, 2nd Award; Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star; Global
War on Terrorism Service Medal; Armed Force Services Medal; and
Overseas Service Ribbon.
