CSM Culp


 

Sergeant Major Vickie G. Culp was born in Miami, Florida. She enlisted in the United States Army August 1989. SGM Culp attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, Virginia, as a Traffic Management Coordinator.  

 

Sergeant Major Culp’s assignments include Transportation Specialist, 106th Transportation Battalion, Russelsheim, Germany; Traffic Management Coordinator, Joint Readiness Training Center, Installation Transportation Office, Fort Chaffee, Arkansas; Traffic Management NCO, Joint Readiness Training Center and 585th Transportation Detachment, Fort Polk, Louisiana; Movement Control and Schools NCO, 16th Corps Support Group, Hanau, Germany; Operations NCOIC, 30th Movement Control Team, Bamberg, Germany; Movement Supervisor, 307th Forward Support Battalion, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Small Group Leader and Operations Sergeant, XVIII Airborne Corps NCO Academy, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Senior Drill Sergeant, E Co, 71st Transportation Battalion, Fort Eustis, Virginia; Detachment Sergeant, 831st Transportation Battalion, Doha, Kuwait; Career Advisor, Senior Career Advisor and Branch Sergeant Major for the Transportation Branch, Human Resource Command, Alexandria, Virginia; First Sergeant, 567th Inland Cargo Transfer Company, Fort Eustis, Virginia and Battalion Sergeant Major, 835th Transportation Battalion, Okinawa, Japan.

 

Her military education includes: the Traffic Management Coordinator (88N) Course, Warrior Leader Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advance Noncommissioned Officer Course (Distinguished Graduate), First Sergeant Course, the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 60, Airborne School, and Drill Sergeant School.  

 

Sergeant Major Culp has earned an Associate’s Degree with Central Texas College, a Bachelors of Science in Legal Studies and a Masters of Arts in Homeland Security with American Military University.  

 

Her awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal (three oak leaf clusters), Army Commendation Medal (silver oak leaf cluster), Army Achievement Medal (one oak leaf cluster), Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (Silver Clasps with one loop), National Defense Service Medal (2 Bronze Service Stars), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, SW Asia Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon (#4), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (#3), NATO Medal, Drivers Badge, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, and Parachute Badge. She is the member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and she has received the Order of Saint Christopher Award.  

 

Sergeant Major Culp is single with no children.
