COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR
Command Sergeant Major Jill L. Crosby entered the United States Army in February 1991 and completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia as a 76P Materiel Control and Accounting Specialist. In 1994 her MOS transitioned to a 92A Automated Logistical Specialist.
CSM Crosby’s stateside assignment includes: Supply Specialist 325th Forward Support Battalion Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 25 ID (L), Material Management Center (MMC) as Item Manager Fort Irwin, California, 406th General Supply Company as the Materiel Management Supervisor Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Montgomery Recruiting Battalion with duty at Mariana Recruiting Company, 244th Quartermaster Battalion as a Instructor Writer and B co 266th Quartermaster Battalion as a Drill Sergeant/SR Drill Sergeant Fort Lee, Virginia, A co 302nd Forward Support Battalion as a First Sergeant 2ID Camp Casey, Korea, 43D Sustainment Brigade as the BDE S3 and SPO SGM Fort Carson, Colorado, G4 Supply and Service SGM 25th Infantry Division (L), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Her deployment experience includes: Operation Enduring Freedom (2010-2011).
Command Sergeant Major Crosby has attended all levels of the Noncommissioned Officers Education System, culminating with the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. She is a graduate of the First Sergeant Course, Air Assault Course, Drill Sergeant Course and Recruiter Course. CSM Crosby has a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from American Military University and a Masters’ degree in Human Resource Management from Trident University.
Her awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (3OLC), Army Commendation Medal (2OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (4OLC), Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Afghan Campaign Medal with Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 4), Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal (Numeral 4). CSM Crosby is a recipient of the Order of Saint Martin.
