Welcome to the
504th Military Intelligence Brigade
The 504th Military Intelligence Brigade located on West Fort Hood, deploys and conducts intelligence collection and analysis supporting III Corps or another designated Task Force (TF). This intelligence mission includes collecting, processing, examining and disseminating Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT). The brigade also provides linguist support and analysis for current and future operations.
The brigade consists of a Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) and two Military Intelligence Battalions, the 163d and 303d MI Battalions.
The 163d and 303d are identical Military Intelligence Battalions focused on the collection and processing of SIGINT and HUMINT. Each battalion has sensitive site exploitation and collection capabilities, along with HUMINT collection and exploitation assets.
The 504th Military Intelligence Brigade has a distinguished history supporting not only III Corps exercises and operations, but contingency operations worldwide. The Brigade has deployed to support Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq on two occasions, in Kosovo supporting Operation Joint Guardian, and most recently, deployed battalion task forces supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
The Brigade is at the forefront of Army transformation and has some of the most state-of-the-art intelligence equipment in the U.S. Army. The Brigade is one of the Armyâ€™s premier intelligence collection units and offers an excellent opportunity for intelligence and intelligence-related personnel to work in a challenging environment.
