CPT Wesley Watson
Captain Wesley P. Watson was commissioned in 2003 in the Signal Corp after graduating from the Reserve Officer Training Corp Program at Arkansas Tech University.
Upon completion of the Signal Officer Basic Course, he was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, Wurzburg, Germany, as a Platoon Leader in C/121st Signal Battalion. In 2004, he deployed his platoon to Tikrit, Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Upon his return, he applied for a branch transfer to the Military Intelligence Branch, which was granted in early 2006. Following his assignment at Wurzburg, he was then assigned to the B/173rd Special Troops Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, based out of Bamberg, Germany as their Executive Officer. Upon completing his time as the B/173rd STB Executive Officer, Captain Watson was interviewed and selected for command of the HHD/173rd STB Rear Detachment for his Battalion’s 15 month deployment to Afghanistan. Following his assignment at with the 173rd ABCT, CPT Watson went on to the Military Intelligence Officer Advanced Course. Nearing the end of his Advanced Course, CPT Watson requested and received an assignment as a member of a Military Transition Team. Upon completion of Combat Advisor training at Fort Riley, Kansas, he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 09-10 on a Federal Police Transition Team. As a legacy Transition Team, CPT Watson proudly trained, coached, and mentored the Wasit Federal Police in Al Kut, Iraq.
CPT Watson’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), the Meritorious Unit Citation, the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (2 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Overseas Service Ribbon (#3).
CPT Watson has been married for the last 9 years to the former Ms. Ashley L. Jenkins, who is currently the Rear Detachment Commander for the 303rd MI BN. He and Ashley have three children who are currently residing in Fort Hood, Texas.

1SG Philip Walls
1SG Walls joined the Army in 1993. He graduated basic training and Advanced Individual training at Ft. Jackson, SC where he was certified in the MOS of 63B Light Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. His duty assignments include Korea, Ft. Hood, Germany, Ft. Bliss, Alaska, 3 Deployments to Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan.
He has held the Duty Titles of Mechanic, Shop Foreman, Motor Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Instructor, Senior Maintenance Supervisor and First Sergeant with HHC, Special Troops Battalion, 4BCT, 1CAV and currently HHC, 163 MI BN, 504th BfSB.
1SG Walls has been married for 16 years to SFC Penny Walls. They have two children, Madison who is 13 yrs. old and Philip who is 6 yrs. old.
His awards include MSM-1, JSCMV-1, JSCM-1, ARCOM-7, AAM-6, JMUA-1, MUC-1, AGCM-5, NDSM-2, KDSM-1, ICM-1, GWTEM-1, GWTSM-1, NOPDR-3, ASR-1, AND OSR-4.
