CPT Dan Stephens

CPT Dan Stephens was born and raised in Brewster, NY.  He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he studied Biomedical Engineering.  Upon commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in 2005, CPT Stephens attended Infantry Officer Basic Course, Airborne School, and Ranger School at Fort Benning, GA.  CPT Stephens’ first duty assignment was to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, KY.  There he served as a Rifle, Heavy Weapons, and Reconnaissance Platoon Leader.

After completing the Maneuver Captains Career Course, CPT Stephens served as a Ranger Instructor for two years at 6th Ranger Training Battalion in Eglin AFB, FL.  He then changed assignments to 3rd Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood, TX, where he commanded a Stryker Troop.  CPT Stephens assumed command of Charlie Company (LRS), 2-38 Cavalry Regiment in June of 2013.

CPT Stephens schools and awards include the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Ranger Tab, Airborne and Air Assault Badge, Bronze Star, and Jumpmaster School.

CPT Stephens is currently married to the former Elspeth Nunneley of Sarasota, FL.

1SG William Hutson is a native of Pearland, TX. He entered the Army on 27 September 1999 and completed Infantry OSUT, and Airborne school at Ft. Benning, Georgia prior to his first assignment.

-1999-2004: Rifleman, Assistant Mortar Gunner, Mortar gunner and Team Leader, Bravo Company, 1st Battalion 508th PIR, Vicenza, Italy

-2004-2005: Mortar Section Leader Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana

-2005-2010: Mortar Section Leader and Mortar Platoon Sergeant, Head Quarters and Head Quarters Company, 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia

-2010-2013: Regimental Assessment and Selection Program NCOIC, Regimental Selection and Training Company, 75th Special Troops Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia

1SG Hutson has 8 deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring freedom
