CSM Thomas V. Williams

Command Sergeant Major Thomas Williams enlisted into the United States Army Reserve in May of 1990 as a 63S Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and attended basic training and Advance Individual Training at Ft. Jackson S.C. In May of 1993, after 3 years in the Army Reserve, he transitioned into active duty as a 14R Line of Sight Heavy Crewmember and attended transition training at Ft. Bliss TX. Upon completion of MOS training he attended airborne training, Ft Benning GA.

He is a graduate of United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) class 63.

His awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal (2nd award), Meritorious service Medal (3rd Award), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (9th award), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Korea Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army service Ribbon, Oversees Ribbon (4th Award) and the Army Superior Unit Award. He is also a member of the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara. His wife Sara and children Kelsey and Bryant currently reside in Copperas Cove TX.

CSM Williams is currently the Command Sergeant Major for the 69th ADA Brigade, Fort Hood, TX.
