Issues: The LAO can help you with appeals and
rebuttals for Reprimands, OERs and NCOERs, Financial
Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL), and other
military legal issues (i.e., Soldier requested separation
Landlord, and Homeowner Questions: An attorney can
review your lease and contract documents before you sign
them, or help you address housing issues like PCS moves and
Child Custody, and Child Support: LAO paralegals
and attorneys can provide helpful resources and legal advice
for family law issues–including divorce, adoption, child
custody, child support, and paternity.
Planning, and Powers of Attorney: LAO attorneys can
help you draft a will or living will, and draft Powers of
Attorney (POA), including Medical POAs, to authorize your
designated legal representative to make decisions on your
behalf. Will assistance on
on a walk-in basis beginning at 0900 and at 1300.
Auto and Property Law: If you have questions about
your consumer rights or about buying, renting or insuring a
vehicle, the LAO can help.
Bankruptcy, and Tax Assistance: The LAO offers
financial legal services, including tax assistance, claims
assistance, bankruptcy help, and advice on how to address
debt management or other financial problems.
