EXCELSIOR COLLEGE EXAMINATIONS Fee Chart

The Excelsior College Examination Program (ECE) is used to meet specific college degree requirements of Excelsior College degrees. They are also accepted for college credit at over 900 other colleges and universities. Also known formerly as the ACT Proficiency Examinations Program (ACT PEP), Excelsior College now administers these tests worldwide.

Paper-and-pencil forms of the ECE exams are available to military and civilian (space available) personnel through the Testing Office. See an education counselor to schedule an exam and to get information about test preparation. The Excelsior Home Page provides complete information on the Excelsior College Examinations and Study guides are also available at www.excelsior.edu.

DANTES recently approved CONUS civilians to take Excelsior Exams (paper- based) (examinee pays) at a DANTES Test Center on a space available basis. Fee can be paid by cashier's check, money order, or personal check made payable to Excelsior College. Computer-based testing is still available at Prometrics Learning Technology.

Four types of examinations comprise the Excelsior College Examination program:
ECE Objective Tests: Multiple-choice type examinations.
ECE Extended Response: Essay type examinations.
ECE Mixed Format: Multiple-choice and free response questions.
ECE Core Assessment (DANTES does NOT fund CORE Assessment Exams)
