Law School Administration Test (LSAT)

The LSAT is a half-day standardized test designed to assist law schools in assessing the academic standings of applicants.

The LSAT provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of the several factors in assessing applicants.

Timed Sections

Section Time Limit
Reading Comprehension 35 Minutes
Analytical Reasoning 35 Minutes
Logical Reasoning (2 each) 35 Minutes each
Writing Sample 35 Minutes

Registering for the LSAT
Registration for the LSAT at a Published Test Center: All Candidates must register for the LSAT in time to meet the registration receipt deadlines.

Note: Walking in and registering on the day of the test is NOT permitted at any test center for any test administration.
