| The Praxis Series: Professional Assessments for Beginning Teachers
is a set of rigorous and carefully validated assessments that provide
accurate, reliable information for use by state education agencies in
making licensing decisions. The Praxis Series Assessments provide tests and other services that states use as part of their teaching licensing certification process. Colleges and universities may also use the basic academic skills assessments to qualify individuals for entry into teacher education programs. DANTES provides tests for two of the categories of assessments in the Praxis Series in teacher development. Praxis III is Classroom Performance Assessments, the first year of teaching. |
