The Praxis Series Assessments provide tests and other services that states use as part of their teaching licensing certification process. Colleges and universities may also use the basic academic skills assessments to qualify individuals for entry into teacher education programs.
DANTES provides tests for two of the categories of assessments in the Praxis Series in teacher development. Praxis III is Classroom Performance Assessments, the first year of teaching.
- Praxis I measures basic academic skills
- Praxis II measures general and subject specific knowledge and teaching skills

Score Report Receipt: Prometric mails score reports to examinees approximately 4 weeks after exam is taken.

Military personnel only are allowed to test in DANTES Test Centers. Civilians should contact the National Test Center. Service members should contact the Troops to Teachers (TTT) representative located in the state where they wish to teach.
