||McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) is offering a SAMS-1E Operator Course at its Temple, Texas campus on January 13 – 17, 2014. SAMS-E, or Standard Army Maintenance System – Enhanced, is the Logistics Information System (LIS) that enables the U.S. Army to conduct maintenance management of vehicles and equipment. Anyone interested in career development for Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) should attend.
MAT is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for SAMS E, so students will receive a comprehensive SAMS-E system overview. The course covers system utilities and interfaces, along with processes for personnel, supply, equipment, and maintenance. In addition, participants will learn how to create reports and go over Army Materiel Status System (AMSS) procedures.

As an authorized VOC REHAB Training Facility, MAT’s training courses are available through the VA's Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program. The VA will provide funding for qualified veterans to participate in the career development training. Also, the SAMS-E course is recognized by Temple College (Temple, Texas) for Continuous Education Units (CEU).
