Dedication of the TSC to MSG Mike C. Peña
The new TSC facility, Building 22041, is
dedicated in memory of the Congressional Medal of Honor recipient
Master Sergeant Mike C. Peña, for his valiant actions on the evening
of 4 September 1950 near Waegwan, Korea. MSG Peña
was born in Texas and served at multiple installations throughout the
state, including Camp Hood. He also served multiple tours with the 1st Cavalry Division, the unit to
which he was assigned when he was killed in action in Korea. MSG Peña is the epitome of
a leader who dedicated his life to training Soldiers. As a
reflection to the mission and purpose the Training Support Center,
it holds the honor of being named for such a Soldier.
The Fort Hood TSC Has Moved
